I'm using my DNS-323 with two 1TB drives, and Goodsync to backup one drive to the other. Sometimes I sync and get "error 5" which will not allow me to copy from one drive to the other. Goodsync says this is a Windows permissions issue, but when I try to manually copy, create, paste files I have no trouble. I don't change the data that much to backup daily, so I can't pinpoint one thing I'm doing to mess it up.
One solution that worked was to create a new folder on each drive, manually move all the files to the new folders, then sync again - no troubles. This keeps cropping up randomly, so I'd like to figure out what's going on.
