How to expand DNR-312L storage with a usb disk

I have been using DNR-312L for years. It has 1.8TB disk. It's working fine. However disk storage needs to be expanded in order to retain more videos.
I have a 1TB usb disk. Can I expand my 1.8TB disk with this 1TB usb disk?

Current NVR Firmware Version :   v1.08.06   
Firmware Date :  Jan 3 2020   
Current NVR Device Pack :  v1.13.02   
Device Pack Date :  Jan 03 2020
