Firmware upgrade invalid file message
« on: July 25, 2015, 01:38:04 AM »

I'm trying to upgrade my REV D router to the latest firmware which according to the website is V4.14 (I'm currently on V1.1) but each time I select the .bin file to perform the upgrade I get an invalid file error message. What's going on?

I really wanna try and update the router as I'm getting frequent internet dropouts which necessitates a router restart. Annoying!

THANKS

Link>Welcome!

  • What region are you located?
  • Was a Factory Reset performed before and after any firmware updates then set up from scratch?

  • Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PC while testing. 3rd party firewalls are not generally needed when using routers as they are effective on blocking malicious inbound traffic.
