413 request entity too large saving DHCP reservations
« on: November 19, 2015, 11:33:53 AM »

I'm getting this error when trying to add dhcp reservations. Have the latest firmware 3.02. Just rebooted the router. Has allowed me to save other changes, just not these. . . happens when I click on "save changes" for the whole page, not when I save an individual reservation to the list. But then it kicks me out & I have to log back in, and of course the reservation is not there.

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?
  • Are you wired or wireless connected to the router?
  • Has a Factory Reset been performed?
  • Was a Factory Reset performed before and after any firmware updates then set up from scratch?
  Link> >FW Update Process
  • Was the router working before any firmware updates?

Can you try the following, set up one reservation, Add the reservation, the select Save then reboot the router?

PC Web Browser Configurations
What browser are you using?
Try Opera or FF? IE11 do the same thing?

Well of course it gives me the error right after your second-to-last step, and logs me out. Are you saying that if I reboot the router that reservation will be there? That would be a very inconvenient routine to have to follow every time I want to add one! Also I just had freshly rebooted it when I tried to add some reservations & discovered this problem. But I'll give it a try when I get a chance (this is being used for a POS system so can't just reboot it willy-nilly. . .)

Let us know how it goes. I'll try this out on mine, however I don't remember seeing this issue on my Rec C.

I just looked at my Rev C with v3.02 loaded. I have many reservations and I presume I would have had issues with this while inputting them which I haven't seen:

Makes me wonder if this is a configuration, browser or faulty router.  ???
