Question for firmware update

Hi all!

If I make a firmware update on my DNS 327L, existing data and settings will be erased???

Data on the drives should not be erased however configurations with in the DNS UI will be so I recommend doing a back up of the configuration before attempting the FW update. "If it works, don't fix it!"  ::)

It would also be a good time to make and test a backup of all your data just in case.

As FurryNutz says 'If it works, don't fix it', unless there is some pressing update or bug fix in the new firmware (the latest isn't always the best- bugs can find their way in).
