ooh gee.. woow... i never knew that... so wait which is the best one?

I woudl go for the A2 (my own version  ;D). The Vitesse switch IMHO is better thand the Realtek used. A4 shoudl also be a good one, although they still haven't optimized the firmware enough.

Hey Lycan,

I was wondering if you can give all of us some updates about the firmware.

Whats the status so far? like have you guys figured out a new firmware and are testing it before it becomes a beta? or the new firmware is still in progress?

Thanks ^_^

Gentlemen,

I'm still in doubt. This firmware is 1:32 and work in the four versions (A1, A2, A3 and A4)? There are variations of 1:32 for each firmware version of hardware?

One firmware for all versions.  I have the A2 and am running the 1.32NA with NO issues.

well it was meant for a general update, like when is the new firmware coming? and what issues will be fixed?

but yeah, you can add the shareport as well, and also the DNS relay problem. If its ok with you to give us update on the issues you guys are working on, and in more detail the shareport and the DNS.

Thanks!!! :)

The DNS issue is tricky. We're not able to find any evidence to back your claims of failure. We're invistigating other avenues for possible solutions.

As for the shareport, I don't have an update, but I will be relaying the failures to the PM in charge of that particular project.

Sweet, thank you for the updates ^_^

To share my experience, if i enable my DNS, it will last me about 3 days, but since it is disabled, my router has been running pretty smooth for 7 days straight.

as for the shareport, it only works when i restart the router. after the 2nd day, i cannot connect to the shareport without restarting. But heres something interesting, after the 2 day mark, when i try to connect to the sharport, it says connected but the device does not show. Before on the 1.31 firmware, it tries to connect and then goes back to available, but for this 1.32, it actually connects but i dont see anything on "my computer". This is whats happening from my router, others are different like it just wont connect without a reboot.

but yeah thanks again for the update :)
