Good afternoon everyone,
I have this router and have recently added a wireless printer to the network. Due to a bug/glitch with the printer (it goes to sleep and then I can't print anymore - apparently a Mac only issue) I've had to disable the printers on board wireless card and use a TP Link TL-WR702N wireless bridge to get it on the network. I've been advised that to prevent further issues with a flaky-but-very-cheap printer (Brother DCPL2540DW) I've been advised to reserve its address under DHCP.
When I was using the built in wireless card this was very easy - go under wireless clients, click the pencil, reserve the address. However using the bridge the printer does not show up as a wireless client - only the bridge does. The IP address claimed by the printer doesn't show anywhere under wireless clients at all.
Printer works great, but I would like to reserve its address on the routers DHCP table....I just can't figure out how.
Advice?
