ardware Version : B1
Firmware : 1.08b
Software Version (Easy Search) : none

Hardrive 1 : WD5000AAKS-22YGA
Hardrive 2 : WD3200KS-22PFB0
No RAID, using 2 drive config

OS : Windows Vista Home Premium French
Browser : IE 8 French, Firefox 3.0.5 (and after, update with 3.0.10) French

Problem Type : On the "Bittorent page", i click "remove finish", and now the list are empty.

One day later, i notice some activity on the network, i check the BT page, and i see nothing. I check my QoS Engine on my Router, and notice 20 kbit Upload and 30 kbit download traffic...
I check the packet, and notice activity from various IP to the NAS, using 6881 port.

Is it possible that the BT software still upload/download ?
Can you investigate on this ?

I reboot the NAS, and port-forward the 6881 port into a non-exist IP of my network to disable the Download/upload for now.
I plan to reboot the router in fiew minute..

The only way i found to stop the BT traffic, is to stop the service in the "ADD-ON" section of the NAS.

After stop the service, it took less thant 1 min to see all BT traffic realy stop!

Without this, the NAS continue to have some access with other BT client arround the world, and the NAS show nothing in the transfert page (0 k up, 0k down). But my router see some activity between the NAS and the outside world using port 6881.

now, nothing because i stop the service !

I can confirm the same issue.  The annoying thing is that it's enough to keep my drives spinning, and the fan on.

My guess is that the traffic is DHT-related.  (All of the traffic that I've noticed in this scenario is UDP.)  I wonder if we could either disable DHT entirely, or have it only active while there is an active BitTorrent transfer.
