^ I did note that in your firmware update instructions, but I
think I have caching disabled in my Macintosh Firefox 45.0.1:

...however I just now clicked the
Clear Now button, anyway (as well as the other
Clear Now button under it — although I would think that there's nothing to clear, the way I have both set-up), and inspected my DIR-825
Wireless Band : 2.4GHz Band settings, but the two offending ones are still not reflecting the actual values.... So you sound like this is not a known bug. I wonder if there is some cache I missed, or some other culprit.

Edit: It occurred to me to try accessing settings in a different web browser, Safari, and lo and behold, the two settings in question display at their correct known values! So it indeed is some cache or something in Firefox that eludes me. Off to google for obscure Firefox caches and such.... Meanwhile, any Firefox users reading this who've been through this before, please chime in.

Edit #2: This Firefox Add-on extension,
Cache Disabler, which is supposed to turn-off both the memory cache and the disk cache, doesn't make a difference.
I also tried
RAMBack, which adds a
Clear Caches command to Firefox's
Tools menu, and it churned away for a few seconds, bringing up the spinning beach ball cursor until it settled-down, but it didn't help, either.
Does anyone know how to get rid of these frigging Firefox caches? I've never met a cache that didn't screw me over!
