Hi, I dont know if this is possible. Let me explain, my 320L works perfectly fine at home, and I know i can access it remotely with my dlink account on android or pc over the internet. The thing is, I wanted to share some of the contents inside the nas, not everything. So the question is, can i make a sub account or guest account and select what contents they have access to? ( so i dont have to give out my password etc)
Thx in advance for everyone who tries to help. Maybe this is crazy and it cant be done, if so, sorry for wasting your time.

Yes (but I haven't tried exactly what you specify - so let me explain my setup)

Admin account
User account (access to media folders)
Dynamic DNS
My nephew (several miles away) can access via web browser or Kodi or FTP client using Dynamic DNS and User Account login details

Create user - allow read only (unless you trust implicitly the third party) to specific folders
https://www.dlinkddns.com/ login/register with same details as mydlink, create Dynamic DNS
Login to webgui NAS, Network Management, Dynamic DNS add details
Then
On external PC either web browser or FileZila Client or Kodi to Dynamic DNS address - enter login (User id and password )
