Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your modem? Look at the sticker under modem.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the modems web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

If DLNA is not listed on the modems web page or spec page on D-Links web site, then it was not included in the FW. One way to get DLNA support would be to find a DIR series router that supports DLNA and then bridge the DSL modem and connect the DIR series router to the modem for DLNA support.

I have a 2750U V1, a smart TV and an external 1TB hard drive.. most of time i should detach hdd from modem and connect it to TV and vice versa.. if DLNA become available in this modem it'll be great ;)

and also it's supported in 2750U/RA

Thanks for posting. It's up to D-Links regional development teams to add any features they deem fit for there products. Some products are just that, modems and may not support any additional features like media support. One suggestion to get around this would be to bridge the DSL modem and install a DIR series external router that supports DLNA and other media supported features. Then connect up your drives and devices to this router and enjoy streaming services.

I would contact your regional D-Link support office to find out what exact model routers that support media services like DLNA and purchase the appropriate model.  ;)
