Which wireless card do you use ?
Which operating system ?
Most recent driver is installed ?
Firmware version of your 655 ?
Down- and upload to the internet ? What is your advertised speed ?

In most cases automatic transmission rate is the best setting.

I'm using Rev A4 with 1.32b03 firmware. I am currentley running two wireless computers and one wired. One of the PC's has a linksys wmp54g with the most recent firmware. The other is a laptop with an Artheros 54mbps card. Those two machines are using vista and one is a mac. In the package from my comcast isp i get 10mb down and 1mb up but when i run a speed test ive been getting a steady 18 down 1.3 up for the past couple months or so. I heard the automatic setting wasnt that great on this router so i was curious as to what others thought.
I was also curious about what others thought about turning the traffic shaping completely off as opposed to manually configuring it. I have heard that some experience internet crashes when it is completley off. I just want to know what will be the best for my connection so. Thanks
