I need to shift non crucial media files from volume 1 to volume 2.. Doing so over my network connection involves the networking out and back and is very slow.

AjaxExplorer looks like the perfect tool, but doesnt see my drives and only sees and allows manipulation of the contents of a folder (and sub folders) on volume 2.

Is this a configuration or rights issue ?? Whats the purpose of AjaxExplorer if it can see my drives as it claims it should ??

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

Yeah that might be viable in USA or Europe.. But in Thailand your lucky if someone even answers a phone let alone has a clue about support or issues like this.

Yes, it's a useless add-on. I've tried is several times and it should be deleted from the add-on list. (My opinion).
It can only manipulate files in Volume(X)/Ajaxplore

But why don't you use the "My Files" in the home screen? It serves your purpose.

When you say home screen you mean favorites ?? I see it nowhere in favorites / applications / or Management.
