After a shaky start, which was mostly my misunderstanding about setup, the camera is delivering on what I expected. To be honest though, there is precious little included to help with setup. I have a degree in engineering and have installed more than one WebCam and what stumped me would stump most average people.
That said, I like the camera. I got it primarily because of the ease of making it battery powered, and easily moved from location to location, without need of finding a power outlet or running extension cords. The one thing I wish it had, was the ability to control it from a smart phone, when not connected to home network. I know it can connect to phone, because part of setup requires direct phone to camera connection to control the install. However, once installed, it appears that the camera can't be the wifi access point, like during setup. I'll have to look into that and see if there is a way.
It would be a nice camera to be able to use as general security, without need of home network. One thing I'm going to investigate is having my phone be the wifi hotspot and see if I can get that to work as my network.
This is a short 10 second video of a motion capture.
