Virtual Server Rules
« on: July 31, 2009, 02:05:20 PM »

Hi,

I am currently having a problem with my 4500 and my Windows Home Server.

I created 4 rules (80/443/3389/4125) under "virtual server" and have them all enabled.  After about 30min-1 hour, they get disabled and i have to manually enable them again.

I have a A1 with 1.21b02.

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA

You may want to move your question into the post dealing with the 1.21b02 firmware so they can answer your question for you.

toyceli22,

Did you reset the router to factory default then build the config from scratch or did you load a previously saved config?

After enabling the Virtual Server rules did you hit the save settings button? IF so what did the router ask after you enabled/created it?

Do you have any port forwarding rules?

Yup the config was built from scratch after i uploaded this FW.

there was a pop up asking if it was ok to enable the rule.  I click ok and it's enable for a little while but eventually the check in the box goes away.

I have no port forwarding rules setup currently.
