Specify Folders?
« on: August 08, 2009, 05:27:06 AM »

Is there a way to specify specific folders for each type of media for streaming to my 360? For some reason It does not recognize .mp4 videos. I have them as .h264 as well and it doesn't recognize them. Also, is there a way to specify a folder as a music folder, essentially like streaming my iTunes folder to my xbox. That way it will know to search there and not the whole drive, thus increasing search times on my xbox? I'm assuming all this would come in the form of an add-on app so I wasn't sure where to come by there applications. I know this seems like a question for xbox forums, but to tell you the truth, I like you guys much better you actually give constructive answers!  :)

Actually all you can do is goto the UPnP AV media server setting and uncheck root and specify a media folder containing folders of Videos and your Music. Your XBox will sort out videos from music. Doing this may save some time.
