Cancelling an erroneous transfer

Does anyone know of a way to cancel or callback a transfer when the RP system recognizes an error in the name of the extension?

For example: you get a call, want to transfer it to another extension. You hit the RP button and say "transfer my call to JOHN" and the system says "JAMES" and off goes the call. Can you hit a key or do anything to re-call that transfer so you can get it to JOHN instead of JAMES?
