Just keeps rebooting
« on: August 19, 2009, 02:47:42 PM »

My brand new dir-655 just keeps rebooting as in a neverending loop. Had it connected and working for a short while, before the wireless started falling out. After a couple of reboots, the router now just keeps rebooting, I can not even set it up. This is the second dir-655 I've tried, the first one was replaced, as I experienced the exact same thing with that one. Both are A4. FW 1.21 EU

I have tried rebooting (holding the reset button in for 10 seconds, and also to disconnect, leave it off and hold the reset button in before reconnecting the power cable, still holding the reset button for 10 second.

Is all hope lost for this one as well? Anyone???

Thanks

Unplug everything except the power cord and see if it still does it. I read a post somewhere where someone reported that one of his PC's would cause the router to continuously reboot when ever he connected it's LAN cable to the router.
