Hi all

Been scratching my head with this, I got a new phone for my brother and it won't connect to the wifi at home. The password is correct, the router is definitely working (other devices connected and working), the date and time are synced up... I've even tried a static IP, but still nothing.

The device keeps saying connecting, but the connection is never authorised! >:(

Any advice? Is it the router or the phone?
Thanks

Other devices connect ok to the modem?
If so, I would presume the phone maybe the problem.

What is the mfr and model of the phone?
Try disabling WPA on the router temporarily and see if the phone will connect. Then set up WPA and TPIK and see if the phone will connect. Then try WPA2 and AES and see of the phone will connect.
