Hi Folks,
I want to set up a simple surveillance system for an elderly parent. I have an outside camera, to monitor the path to the house, and an inside camera by the back door, to detect intruders.
I want the outside camera to record 15s video on detection, on all day.
I want the inside camera to record video on detection, send me a notification, and also turn on an alarm siren in the house - but only between midnight and 4am
I have created 2 automations, one for each camera. And set up a schedule to make the interior camera automation active between 00:00 - 04:00.
BUT - it seems when the schedule turns the interior camera ON, it automatically turns the exterior camera OFF. I cannot get both cameras working at the same time, but using differnt IFTTT logic.
Anyone know how to solve this?
