When using wireless connection to DIR‑636L , the connection has not been so good compared to when I connect directly by cable, and there is oftenly intereference which causes very low connection speed.
So I wanted to go into the configuration settings to see if I could change the channels and such things.
If I go to the web based configuration utility at http://192.168.0.1, I am redirected to wizard_router.asp , to the installation guide.
But I can't log in to the dlink account, nor create a new account, it says "Send signup request failed.".
Could a firmware update fix this issue? For me the current firmware is 1.01, but I see that there are firmware up to 1.06 available (for north american users, I am from Sweden though).
Or should I should trash it and get a new one?
It does work, but I think I should be able to get good connection without interference..
