I have 7 clients that connect remotely to the DSR-250 via Windows 10 built in VPN client. All are set up the same with different credentials. All have been working for over a year now. Last week, without any known changes to the OS, one of my clients is no longer able to connect. They receive the message "The L2TP connection attempt failed because the security layer encountered a processing error during initial negotiations with the remote computer". Additionally in event viewer, I see a RasClient error of "CoId={8A27C38E-D357-0003-4181-288A57D3D601}: The user PULSE-DESKTOP10\Administrator dialed a connection named PULSE which has failed. The error code returned on failure is 789". I have completely uninstalled the anti-virus, disabled the Windows firewall, removed and re-setup the VPN configuration, tried under a different profile and tested with different credentials from another client whose connection is working. I have made sure Windows is up to date and that the date and time is correct. I have done a deep comparison of the configuration with working clients to confirm they are identical. I am at a loss as how to continue to troubleshoot the issue. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
