Defective Part on DSC-8302LH mounting post

The lock nut over the swivel ball on the mounting post keeps breaking.  I have three cameras and the part has broken on all three.  D-Link will not sell a replacement nut, and since the cameras are out of warranty, I have had to jury rig the mounts with tape and metal strips.  Any suggestions.
