Which Honda CR-V Years Should Be Avoided?

Hello everyone.

I'm considering buying a used Honda CR-V and I've heard some model years might be problematic. I’m looking for advice on which honda crv years are best to avoid in terms of reliability and common issues. Specifically, I’ve read that some early 2000s models had transmission problems and the 2015 model had oil dilution issues.

Does anyone have firsthand experience with these or any other years that tend to have more repairs or maintenance concerns? Any recommendations for which years offer the most reliability would be super helpful! Thanks!
