Performance 4500/655
« on: September 09, 2009, 06:30:58 PM »

I want to buy a D-link router for Internet and PS3.....

What is my best option..? DGL-4500 or DIR-655...?

It is true that many people has problems with both devices but...God...there has to be someone with a good Network config and consequently, a good-objective review about it....

...or, is definitely a bad build device...?

Thanks..!

If you've read the posts and seen the problems and you still want to buy one then...you deserve it. ;D

Honestly though I'd seriously recommend that you turn your attention to the netgear rangemax wndr3700 which was released this month.  If I were buying a new consumer grade router today that is where I'd go.  You have to look at all of the problems that d-link is having with ubicom based routers and you will not want one.  The netgear is based on the mips cpu which has a good track record.  http://www.netgear.com/Products/RoutersandGateways/RangeMaxWirelessNRoutersandGateways/wndr3700.aspx
