Devices "falling off" bridge
« on: October 16, 2009, 09:38:01 AM »

We have purchased and implemented a large number of DAP-1522 bridges and are having some issues with them.  They are connecting to Cisco 1200 AP's and what is happening is that devices connected to the bridges are losing connectivity.  If I am on the same subnet as the bridge, I can ping devices on the bridge.  However, if I am on a different subnet I am unable to ping through to the devices on the bridge.  I can however ping the bridge itself.

Running the latest firmware (1.21).  If I continually ping the device on the bridge, it will stay up.  Also, if I ping from the device connected to the bridge back to the router, it will re-establish connection.

Any ideas ??  We have used Linksys bridges in the past without any issues at all.
