Nice catching.  I've been watching closely lately.

Anyone try the B rev yet?  Looks like it's only for SIP and Xbox?

I did last night, below are some initial thoughts/notes:

1.  My firmware version still shows "2.02NA , Wed, 7, Oct, 2009", I'm not sure if that's normal or something didn't take.

2.  It seemed to retain all settings except for the host and wireless settings, so if you don't like resetting those by memory back stuff up like it says.

3.  My WAN speeds seem better, but it might just be the reboots.  WAN speeds for me have been around 1.5-1.8 MB/s instead of ~2.25 MB/s.  I know the 825 can be higher because the speeds are fine for awhile, I can't find a pattern, thought other wan activity seems to slow it.  Even my ancient WRT54G router could max things out 100% of the time.  Maybe I have a lemon, but I'm amazed and can't believe xbox 360 and SIP issues were fixed before any more major performance issues, if I understand the changelog correctly.

4.  mIRC connections repeatedly die for me after the update.  VPN and other constant connections are fine.  I modified my client with a little hack and it seems to stay alive now, but something definitely changed there.

I loaded the beta for the Xbox fix last night.  My son was on his Xbox and Xbox live for several hours(at least 5) and said that he did not have any problems.  He was connected wirelessly using Microsofts xbox wireless adapter.  We have had the 825B since August and this is the first time we were able to connect the Xbox wirelessly to the router since our purchase.  We had been connecting by using our old linksys router and plugging it into the 825B and it worked so we've been patiently waiting for this fix.  I did have to restart the router this morning because our computer wasn't connecting to the internet and everything worked fine after the restart.  Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come.

Looks like there is a fix for the "Shareport" issue as well.

What is the shareport issue?

I think connections issues for printers and speed issues with hard disks.  Not 100% sure though as I've not kept up with it. Just tried to do a quick search.

Yup noticed it a few hours after it was posted. I got some weird feeling that I should check and sure enough it was posted.

Installed it and have been having a great time on my Xbox 360 playing movies from my DNS-323 and downloading game demos. So far it's been on and off for 3 days without a single problem.

Rock solid!

I have VieraCast through my Blu-ray player (internet content: YouTube, Amazon on Demand).  Would you say it would be worth doing this update for my 825B1 since I'm plugged into it?
