DIR-825 Going Back
« on: October 08, 2009, 08:29:19 AM »

Bought this router (B1) yesterday to replace my old Linksys that bellied up.  Right off the bat it wouldn't maintain a connection using the wired ports.  It would be up for a few seconds then stop passing internet data.  Screwed with it for 5 hours.  Vista on my wifes computer reported that it DNS requests were not being resolved.  Thought it was my modem or provider.

Borrowed an old Netgear wired router FR114P and at least my wired connections are working.

Finally found this forum and discovered everybody was having the same problem.  This is the my first and last D-Link product.  Can't believe that they would let this situation go on for so long.  They must be on their last legs.

Looking at the Netgear WMDR 3700.

Good Bye D-Link, you STINK!  .l.
The word will be passed.
