DIR-615 drops conection??
« on: October 09, 2009, 05:03:25 PM »

I just bought this a few weeks ago and also bought a comstar router and put the comstar in bridge mode so i can stream HD to my ps3. I have everything setup and no issues when streaming the movies and they play fine, but i lose connection like half way into the movie. All i do  is do a connection test but it works fine and i have to start the video again. It get's very annoying to restart the movie and it only happens when i play a movie i have the comstar also connected to my laptop which works fine but when a movie plays it loses connection aswell  and i think it the DIR-615 that causes the issue. I have read that there is a bug with the firmware and i have the C1 with firmware 3.11 (came with 3.10 but i updated hoping it would solve my issue). I have read here before posting to create a DHCP Reservations which i just did and i think this may have solved the problem coz as i type this there are no dis connected as of yet. But can i get some input?

P.S i don't think its the comstar as i have a friend that has the same setup and he dose not have any issues but he hasa DIR-655.
