No drivers available for win xp pro 64. Why? I won't be bothering you again.

The Vista Drivers are WHQL certified and so are the XP drivers, they should work for you. If not then MS may have a driver based on the chipset posted for their 64bit OS that you can get through MS update.

I have a question? Why is it that every time I ask or someone else asks about drivers for Windows XP 64-bit edition D-Link always seems like they drop the subject and say something about using Windows Vista 64-bit edition drivers or check Microsoft Update. They always seem to drop the issue about Windows XP 64-bit edition. I just need to know when they will be released or even if they are working on them.

You get the same answer because your question hasn't changed. Since a release date for a D-Link version of drivers is not available, you won't be getting a calendar date as an answer.

I would expect when it is available from the support site the x64 driver box will have a check in it.

The xp drivers and the vista drivers DO NOT work with Win XP Pro 64 bit version. Neither do the atheros drivers found on in other sites or microsoft update.

My original question is WHY ARE THERE NOT DRIVERS FOR XP 64,  not when will they be available.

FYI, I returned my 552 for a full refund,  it is not an issue anymore, considering the other major manufacturers do not support xp pro 64 either.

Just a suggestion... d-link should mark their box with "works with" and include the os they have drivers for, instead of "minimum requirements". Leads me to believe xp 64 will work.

I still like your products, own two routers and one wireless card and will continue to buy products, all I ask is that you support your products...please.
