cannot connect to router
« on: October 11, 2009, 06:34:24 AM »

I upgraded to the new motorola docis 3.0 modem and noe my router will not work. I ried connecting straight from my pc to the router and from my laptop to the router. Both times the PCs can see the router, but I get a limited connectivity error. I tried reinstalling the disc that came with it, but it gets stuck at "looking for ethernet connection" I have tried different cables and PCs, but like I said the router shows up in my network device list, but will no allow me into it.

Any help is appreciated.

Whenever a router can not see an Internet modem, one suggestion is to do a complete factory reset so as to see if the router would then see the after this.
