Well the Time Capsule is going back as well... I bought a refurb and expected it to "Just Work" like it should. Well... Xbox 360 was lagging badly, my wireless connection was worse than the signal from my 2 year old Buffalo WHR-HP-G54. I'm back with the Buffalo for now. I ordered a Netgear WNDR3700 like I should have to begin with. I haven't found a bad review for it yet. I'll definitely let everyone know how it goes.
Dlink, I'm definitely not impressed with the service. With a widespread issue like this, the product should be recalled. You're pissing off a lot of people with this router. Not good for business at all. Besides the bad publicity, you're also getting complaints sent to the BBB and other better business organizations. Recall this product and give people their money back. You're wasting your time and our time by giving us the same broken devices.
I'm also not impressed with the Apple Time Capsule, not that it is needed to be posted here. Besides the issues I described above, many users were complaining about the unit failing at 18 months. A lot of people were saying this. There is too much information to have at jeopardy to have a probable failure after 18 months.
I hope the Netgear works out well. I have not seen anything bad about it and have actually read a little about it on this forum. I'll let everyone know my results.
