1.32NA
« on: December 16, 2009, 01:10:57 PM »

Hey Guys,

I am a new member, but I am seriously at a loss as I have tried to fix my issue for the past 5 hours, so I need help. I just upgraded to 1.32NA and my bandwidth is terrible now, it drops down to 1mbps download, and 2 mbps upload every 5 minutes or so. I pay for a 30mbps download, 7mbps upload through Comcast and I can't use it cause this router isn't working correctly anymore. It worked fine with 1.21, is there an issue with this firmware??

HELP!!!

I just upgraded my router from 1.02 to 1.32NA a few days ago, and I've been have all kinds of trouble as well.  With traffic shaping turned on, my router would freeze after about 30min. of bittorrent traffic.  It wouldn't even let me use the web interface (I'd get a "connection error" in my browser).  Turning traffic shaping off seemed to help a lot.  But, my router just froze up again a few minutes ago, and I had to unplug it to reboot it.  It wasn't even under heavy usage.  Just an AIM client, web browsing, and BOINC.

It's really making me mad.  In 1.02 QOS didn't work as well as I'd like, but at least the router never froze up.  And I just read that you cannot revert back to that firmware.

To Dlink:
Please make it possible to revert back to version 1.02.

Since you already have 1.32 you should upgrade to the beta which fixes the DNS relay issue.
