---Wireless-N gaming adapters/bridges and 5MHz?
« on: January 16, 2010, 07:54:19 AM »

Anyone having success using a wireless-n gaming adapter/bridge (WET610, WGA600, DAP1522, Xbox 360 wireless-n adapter, etc) and operating at 20/40 or 40Mhz without disconnects?

I have a Linksys WET610N gaming adapter hooked up to my Xbox 360 and have constant disconnects once I set my DIR655 at 20/40 or 40MHz.  I have read that this is an issue with the Dlink DAP1522 adapter as well.  If you can operate on the 40Mhz frequency, do you mind sharing your settings?

I have the latest firmware for both devices and have tried a multitude of settings.

Thanks!!!

I might be confusing with the 825, but I think there is beta code that fixes the xbox 360 issue.

I have several SMCWEB-N bridges that work fine in 20/40 Mhz with my DIR-655. 2.4Ghz only though. I have a DAP-1522 in the closet that I could not get to work at all in the spot i needed it to.
