Dir825 Shareport MAGICALLY stopped working

I have a DIR-825 and have had no problems with Shareport and my printer for almost a year. At some point in December (or early Jan.) it stopped being able to find the printer. The Shareport window never shows the printer as available and yet every 10 seconds I get the "Found - Xerox Phaser" popup. Nothing has changed on my system that would be an obvious fix. No hardware/software updates. The 825 is rev.A, using firmware ver. 1.01, Shareport version 1.15 on Windows XP. The other 2 computers that connect to this router and printer are getting the same behavior. Any ideas? Router fizzled?

And as an update: I decided to install firmware 1.13NA on the dir825 and then installed the appropriate shareport version (1.1.0).  Was pleasantly suprised when shareport once again allowed me to connect to the printer.  About 3 weeks later, we're back to shareport not finding the printer again. :/

Nothing has changed...an hour ago I was connected and printing. Now, it won't connect.

Try the new version of the PC SharePort Ulility, version 3.0.

This happened to me even with the new 3.0 Shareport software.

I've had the DIR-825 for about 7 months. The software available at the time I bought the unit worked for about a week, then stopped. I was able to get it working every couple of weeks but eventually gave up.

I just found out about version 3.0 two weeks ago and thought it would have fixed the problem, and I thought it did because it worked well over a week. Then today I went to use it and it's stopped working. Even worse, when I physically disconnect my printer's USB cable from the router, it still appears on my Shareport software, EVEN AFTER REBOOTING THE ROUTER through the web browser interface.

I have left the router and printer on and connected for over a week, so I don't know if the router eventually gets the printer's information STUCK somehow? :-\

Please reply to this thread if you figure out a solution. I'll be checking for updates to the router's firmware and Shareport Utility.
