Hi all
I seem to have fixed this by selecting manual IP address in the network settings, changing the IP address of both the DAP 1360 units to the same IP address as the rest of the network and then going back to an dynamic IP address.

Here are the network settings;
TP link 8840 modem: DHCP enabled 192.168.1.1
DAp1360 dynamic IP address 192.168.1.2 connected to the TP link via a LAN cable, in access point wireless mode.
DAP 1360 dynamic IP address 192.168.1.3 repeater mode.

Force both units to a manual IP address that matches your IP range for your network and then return to dynamic mode.

Hope this helps. The clue was when the previous poster mentioned that you needed to clone the MAC address. This forces the address of the unit rather than letting it choose it's own, something that can affect a subnet unit that has the incorrect subnet mask or IP address range. The units can't communicate because they aren't on the same IP address range and thus they drop the communication which would explain the above problems we were all experiencing.

Buying this Router was definitly a mistake for me.

No Internet disconnections, my modem is working well, but WiFi signal disconnections, see below (DAP1360 in green)

jeason, hmm, this shows that HW_A1 does have a firmware update to v1.10b08 and that might fix your problem ?
