If you reset/change the IP address of the DAP-1522 you will need to change the IP-address of your client computer to be in the same range. Also the 192.168.x.1 is mostly reserved for the base-router your AP/Bridge connects to. So you could have better changed it to 192.168.1.50...
After changing your DAP IP-address to another 'range' you need to change your client to be in the same group, i.e. 192.168.1.y (temporary until you can use the AP/Bridge to forward auto-assign your IP-address).
My suggestion is that you hard-code your LAN ip-address to something like 192.168.1.30, and try to access the 192.168.1.1 of the DAP. You will need to temporary shut down your 'real' WLAN router, so as to avoid confusion of the .1.1 address...
Make sure after you have set things right to change your LAN to the original auto-assign IP, if that was done previously.
