Specialized network access
« on: April 05, 2010, 05:20:25 PM »

Hi experts!

Is there a way to allow a user access to my local network via the wireless connection, but prevent them from accessing the internet at the same time?

oddly, this router seems to be unable to accomplish the feat that you ask about.

It seems to be internet focused not LAN focused with internet access here and there.

You can block access to the router (to block internet access) but you don't seem to be able to allow LAN access and block internet at the same time.

Maybe somebody has gotten past this oddity....  I have not, at least that I know of....
