On Demand Questions
« on: March 06, 2008, 07:44:21 PM »

I have DSL and connect using PPoE. I thought On Demand would be the right thing to do. My old DI-624 would disconnect when I turned all pc's off, and connect as expected. However, I am not seen in the Log, the DIR-655 disconnect as I expected. I have the number set to 30, which I assume it means 30 minutes of inactivity, disconnect. I have yet to see a disconnect. Is this feature working for everyone. I have the latest firmware installed...  Al

Maybe 30 mins is not long enough for the DIR-655 to time out the DSL link ?

Thanks for your tip. If you don't enter any number it defaults to 20. Are you suggesting I change it to a smaller or to a larger number?  Al
