Problems with Shareport
« on: August 04, 2010, 01:07:22 AM »

I use my laptop with 2 users. Both stay on al the time (Vista change to other user) and almost never reboot. I use hibernate in stead of shutdown.

That is all very satisfactory, except for Shareport. (I use version 1.16)
I have the following problems:
  • I setup Shareport to automatically start when Windows starts up. But it doesn't. It starts up when I log in. So with 2 simultanious users it starts 2 times. Only the first user can use Shareport. The second user must manually terminate his Shareport and can then use the other one.
How can I set Shareport to really start up with Windows?
  • When Shareport comes up, it detects the USB device and enters "Wait for connection" mode. I have to manually connect the device. Not only initially, but also after Vista awakes from sleep state or hibernate. The latter is very annoying when I first have to switch user to do that and then switch back again.
How can I setup Shareport to autoconnect?
Thanks,
Han Koster
