Not really relevent enough to make a new topic, since I don't suspect the issue is on my side, but anyone here play Dead Nation for PS3? Having a diffacult time getting into a private game with my friend. We can play LBP1 together, no problem except a little lag, but trying to play a private game together in Dead Nation is hit or miss, with a failure rate of about 1/8. We have tried with and without voice chat enabled, and seem to have better success with it off, but that isn't the sole issue. The odd part is, 100% of the time we can connect, and its fine until one of us moves. We can each fire our weapons, do melee, etc, but if we move, instant disconnect.
Network
Me
SB6120 > DGL4500 > Wired to PS3.
All ports forwarded, static DNS, 15down, 5up. Have tried with UPnP enabled and disabled.
Her
SB5101 > DIR-655 > Wireless to PS3
All ports forward (they say, won't grant me remote to check), UPnP enabled, 6Mb down, 3Mb up.
I check my logs, nothing too alarming. The only error I see related to the PS3 is a blocked outgoing ICMP packet to my DNS. It can't be a DNS query, because that would be UDP I think. Also, I get the same error to my laptop, and no connectivity issues there. I think it might be a glitch with the game, maybe related to the global point system they use and the heavy traffic their probably getting now with it being a "welcome back" game. I welcome anyone thoughts or suggestions though.
