For the respect of the fallen, I will keep my specific opinion on this for another day.
What I will say is memorial services are one thing, the 24/7 press coverage is something else. I know a few people who lost family or friends in the attack. They tell me they hate watching the coverage. Very few people who lost a loved one likes to see the act of that loved one killed (the planes hitting the towers) over and over and over. I don't see that as "paying them respect". I see that as the rest of us entertaining our natural, but morbid curiosity of death. I see it as the Press getting ratings. I see it as a reason to sell more yellow ribbon bumper stickers. But I guess that is how our nation handles situations out of the norm. They simplify them, and departmentalize them into issues their small minds can grasp. Good guys win, bad guys go to jail, and in the end, England Prevails!
