I'm having a problem with some files once copied to the DNS-323 becoming corrupted and unreadable. They are usually large video files, but have also been small jpg's as well.
I am using 2 Samsung 2TB drives (Spinpoint F3EG EcoGreen HDD 32M) configured as separate volumes. Volume 1 is my main drive and Volume 2 is a backup (I periodically run SyncBack to backup Vol 1 to Vol 2). I usually find out about the corrupted files when doing this backup from Vol 1 to Vol 2, as Syncback reports errors.
Logging on to the DNS-323 to check status doesn't reveal anything wrong with the drives. Running a scan disk on Volume 1 also doesn't show any errors. I am using firmware 1.08.
Can anyone help? I'm not sure if there is a problem with the DNS, the Samsung drives, Windows 7 copying data or something else?
