DIR-825 W/ netgear wnce2001 - Wont assign IP

I was just reading that there was or is beta software for that solves the dir825 not giving an xbox360 an IP when connected wirelessly.  Has anyone else had this problem and solved?  I am not using the xbox connector but the netgear and router is B1 with 202NA.  Another solution is to turn off the 5mghz? 

Any help is appreciated!
