I have DNS-323, HW version C1 , firmware 1.07, connected to modem/router DGN1000.
My PC also connected to the same router.
I see my DNS disks, I can admin my DNS, but I CAN'T torrent and Easy Search Utilities can't find my DNS.
Please help

If you upgrade to a newer firmware, then you won't need the Easy Search utility as you can install and run the BT client from the DNS323 admin console in the newer versions.

The problem is that in the past this DNS and firmware worked properly with other router.
Only router is difference now.
BTW, I already tried to upgrade to 1.08 and received "Firmware Upload Error! "
Now I restarted to factory defaults.

The most likely cause of your problem is the personal firewall on your computer not being happy with the change of the network address caused by a change of router.

Most consumer routers use a "c class" network range such as 192.168.0.x or 192.168.1.x, and by switching routers you may have changed network addresses, the personal firewall on your computer sees this as a "new" network and may need to be reconfigured to allow communication with this new network.

I've change my PC firewall rules and now my Easy Search Utility sees the NAS, but:
1. When I'm going to BitTorrent by explorer 8, I'm receiving "Connection to server failed" message. When I doing it by Firefox, I reach the regular BitTorrent screen. Any suggestion?
2. BitTorrent still not starting

Now that we have confirmed that the firewall rules were preventing the ESU from seeing the NAS - have you figured it out, or would you like it explained?

Yes, a firewall that apparently allows web and SMB traffic to pass unhindered to the NAS on a "new network" but denies everything else, including by comparison highly dangerous ESU communication

Wrong - the personal firewall will, by default, block all but the "standard applications & services" (such as SMB & http) - which is a category the ESU does not  fall into, so it must specifically be given access rights - in most cases, the firewall prompts when a new application requests access, but may not do so if changes are made.

You expressed a doubt when I first posited the personal firewall as the cause, I'm just trying to clear up those doubts.
