KVM 221
« Reply #15 on: January 19, 2011, 12:59:05 PM »

Well, not the best experience here. KVM switches are not listed in these forums and I need some help.

I just bought a KVM-221 and found that the keyboard emulation does not allow the use of multimedia keys (Volume, and any extra key provided). This is a must, it is not acceptable that this function is now supported.
I understand the reason for this (keyboard emulation), but multimedia keys are not new, any simple keyboard support them today. You have to find the way to make them work ASAP. Please let me know if there is a way to map them. I do not want to flush the switch trough the toilette because of this limitation.

Thank you

I prefer plasma screens over LCD, as the have more wider viewing angle as compared to LCD screens, the only difference is in their price.

LCD screens are good, but most of the people go for the LED. Since it's an advanced version of LCD, but it's too costly also. :) :) :)
