What driver version are you running and are you using the dlink utility to connect to wireless network or windows?

Looking from Device Manager, the driver is from Atheros Communications, dated 2008/06/06 and the version is 3.1.0.76. The installation package is named with another date, though. It is called "20081111-DWA-160-S0029-EU(A+B).zip". That is the most recent one I was able to find from your site: http://www.dlink.fi/cs/Satellite?c=TechSupport_C&childpagename=DLinkEurope-FI%2FDLTechProduct&cid=1197319489146&p=1197318961071&packedargs=locale%3D1195806935789&pagename=DLinkEurope-FI%2FDLWrapper. On the Finnish website behind the link the timestamp is actually 2009/02/13 but this is the installation file I have been using.

I am using the D-Link utility to connect and I have disabled my on-board wireless network adapter in Vista's Device Manager.

You may try the latest driver first:

ftp://ftp.dlink.de/dwa/dwa-160/driver_software/DWA-160_drv_Rev-A-B_v1.50S0043EU.zip

New driver and Utility.
So far no problems with Vista and Win7 here.
