Network Settings - Unable to set Gateway.
« on: December 29, 2010, 12:35:38 PM »

I'm trying to use this router as a DHCP server, switch, and wireless access point.
I have it connected to firewall, running m0n0wall, the problem is, when going to "Network Settings", i only see 4 options.

Ip address, Subnet Mask, Device Name, and Local Domain Name.

When clicking "more" on the right side bar, for Help, i see there are more options described: (Router ip address, Subnet mask,  gateway, and more...) (I need the Gateway field for Local Network)
Problem is i don't see them.

My Monowall is 192.168.1.1 DIR-655 router is 192.168.1.2, in order to out to the internet, I will need to put default gateway as 192.168.1.1m but I have no options, and when DHCP server on DIR-655 assigns gateway, it uses it's own Ip address.

Is there an option to change this? I see there is under HELP, unfortunately I don't see it. ( I upgraded firmware to 1.35NA) but still the same problem.

I can run DHCP server on my m0n0wall, but prefer not to.

Any ideas?
