Hi!

Is there a way for my IP Cameras to save their surveillance videos and snapshots into my Verbatim desktop HDD connected in the Routers USB.
The router is a Dir-855 and the two IP Cameras are connected through wifi to the router. My problem is that I need my laptops brought with me from time to time.
And thats when I need the cameras to save events on the verbatim. They are triggered by motion and start recording audio and video. I cant install the shareport on the cameras.

Can someone please help me fix this, I am under constant threat and terror from my old boyfriend and all of my money is spent on moving and the cameras so I cant afford to buy any more hardware. Is there a way to solve my problem, please I really need it

Yes. You can record the video at remote / local by using the software provided by the IP camera manufacturer. The ability to record the video at remote site is a major advantage of IP camera over traditional analog camera. NAS (Network Attached Storage) is very useful in video storage, and is easy to install.
