No, I think you are silly.
If you represent the company you don't call your customers silly. Do you volunteer? I am assuming you're paid. No one on this forum who buys D-Link products is someone you need to call silly. Period. Call them banned or whatever but anything else just begs personal complaints. There are some wealthy and powerfull people whom you do not know out here and to throw insults like this is a Yahoo chat room is just not acceptable. Call me silly on the phone when it's just you and I and see how nice I am. I was polite and have reasonable concerns. The router and NIC weren't free!
Now, I wasn't meaning to imply anything negative to the people who work the forums but many forums ARE official support. They are not only official support they also represent their employing company. You have authority to ban ME but go throwing insults... just please, lets calm down and not be so defensive. I've read the unnecessarily sharp remarks by some of the staff on here to current D-Link customers and what bothers me is it's so EASY to not reply in kind to irritated customers. I've had it to my ears with people who don't appreciate their jobs that involve helping people. Not saying you don't Lycan.
I am someone who not only appreciates good customer support but I also know how stressing it can be therefore I have genuine respect. This makes a difference in the business world. I was not on the offensive Lycan but my advice is that you keep your personal opinions to yourself when you are working. I realize staffing isn't high on many forums. Mushkin (memory makes) use their forums for support almost exclusively as do many other companies. Want me as a customer D-Link?
Okay these are not support forums. I get it. We get it. I've had a long day with Buy.com customer support and may have to file a chargeback or fraud claim (1 month and no item shipped - shady as they come, I didn't check resellerratings!

) and I'm not in the mood to read how silly I am to expect support on Official forums after I paid over $300.00 to this company on my first purchase.
Every single dollar I spend on an item is an investment to me in every sense. I believe it's important to see things that way. Now I expect some disagreeing forum members to lay into me, okay.
Seriously though arklab, did you check the support page first?
